I Do Not Understand My Father’s Inventions
My father was in a bad mood when I stopped by to see him yesterday. He rambled on about the conception of an invention and how his last idea would not pass the definition of this concept through the Court of Customs and Patents Appeals. It was like he was speaking a foreign language to me. He knows that I do not understand his world of inventions, but I wanted to give him moral support anyway. I asked him if he could redo the invention or tweak the idea a little bit to make it work out better. He laughed, shook his head, and took me out to lunch.
